Canceled Postponed is Kai's first directing piece, and it was a one of a kind experience. She really loved collaborating with fellow Purchase Acting BFA students.

Overview:

In March of 2020, seven theater students from a Northeastern acting conservatory were abruptly sent home due to the ongoing pandemic, with the state of their spring program entirely in limbo. canceled/postponed brings us into the lives of these young people, showing us their struggles, their joys, their frustrations, and their hope, as they seek to answer the questions from an unknowable future.

This devised theatre script was written specifically for this cast and, although it is loosely based on their spring experiences as theatre students in the acting conservatory of SUNY Purchase, all characters and situations are fictitious. - Goodly Frame Theatre
